2025 Organizational Annual Organizational Report
MAYEIN’s 2025 Impact Report, which captures the progress, learning, and collective efforts that shaped our work across schools and communities.
The report highlights how, together with your support, we continued to advance inclusive education, youth development, and community engagement. It documents not only what we achieved, but also the moments that reminded us why this mission truly matters.
Some key highlights from 2025 include:
-
Reaching 6,075 beneficiaries across 56 schools and communities, including children strengthening their reading skills, young people building confidence in digital literacy, and parents and community members deepening their awareness of the value of education.
-
Strengthening digital and foundational literacy for over 240 learners through our digital training programmes. For many students and teachers, this was their first meaningful interaction with a computer—an experience that significantly increased motivation and enthusiasm for learning.
-
Bringing learning to life through youth-centred activities in our community libraries, creating safe spaces where children and adolescents can read, explore ideas, speak up, and express themselves creatively.
-
Advancing girls’ education and leadership by providing platforms where schoolgirls developed self-advocacy skills and engaged directly with education stakeholders to voice their needs and challenges.
Gender-responsive education in emergency
This policy brief highlights ways that a gender-responsive perspective can be fully incorporated into planning, policy design, and implementation models for education in emergencies (EiE) in Nigeria, so that governments and education stakeholders can ensure that girls, like boys, can continue learning in times of crisis.
