MAYEIN Launches Green Economic Empowerment Initiative for Young Mothers in Ojoo, Ibadan

As part of our objective to boost girls and young women’s participation in green sector jobs and markets in Nigeria, MAYEIN launched Project GINGER for young mothers in the Alaka community, Ojoo area of Ibadan in April.

Through the Project, participants will receive instructor-led training on sustainable Adire/Batik textiles production to gain skills needed to participate in and benefit from Nigeria’s fast-growing sustainable clothing sector and overall green economy.
